Tanzania eVisa Fees: Direct Government Fees and This Site’s Prices

The price for applying directly to Tanzania Immigration is different from the price published by this assistance website. Compare the same visa category and route before paying. A service total should not be read as the government's visa tariff.

Direct government application fees

The Tanzania Immigration fee schedule lists these visa charges:

These are visa fees, not a promise that every category is available for every passport or travel purpose. Confirm the applicable category on the government portal. If you apply yourself through that portal, you do not pay this website's assistance fee.

Prices published on this website

Our current site prices are retained below. The application-charge column is this site's listed amount; it is not the direct-government tariff above.

Check the live fees calculator and the payment screen for your selected product. Compare the complete total rather than only the service-fee line. Bank conversion and foreign-transaction charges may be additional.

For example, a single-entry tourist application through this service is US$164.99, compared with the government's published US$50 ordinary-visa charge for a direct application. The US$114.99 difference is the difference between the two published prices. It should not be described as entirely a government fee or entirely the US$69.99 service fee.

Group totals

Each passenger has a separate fee total. One booking reference does not create a shared family visa.

• Two single-entry tourist applications: 2 × US$164.99 = US$329.98.
• Four single-entry tourist applications: 4 × US$164.99 = US$659.96.
• One multiple-entry tourist application: US$145.00 + US$69.99 = US$214.99.

Check each passport's eligibility before combining travelers. A family may need different categories. The calculator helps with arithmetic; it does not decide nationality eligibility or the immigration purpose of the trip.

What you receive and what costs extra

The service fee covers application assistance, document checks and support. It does not buy a guaranteed approval or a faster government decision. The service's published processing window remains up to 15 business days.

Visa charges exclude flights, accommodation, park fees, medical costs and any required inbound travel insurance. Insurance has its own provider, certificate and terms; it is not included just because your visa is paid. See the mainland and Zanzibar entry guide for the current insurance links.

Refunds and duplicate payments

The service publishes a service-fee refund if the visa is rejected, subject to its refund policy. Do not interpret that as a refund of the full application total or travel expenses.

For direct applications, Immigration's non-refund terms cover refusals, cancellations and duplicate applications. If a payment appears to have failed, check the existing file and receipt before opening another application. A second charge does not speed up the first one.

Before choosing a visa product

Match the visa to your passport and activities using the official guidelines. Transit is not a cheaper tourist product. Meeting attendance does not automatically mean business visa; the nature of the activity matters. Ask Immigration for guidance if the category is unclear.
